There are good reasons not to drill in certain areas.

In Arkansas, gambling is illegal. Until recently, charitable bingo was forbidden. Yet, you can go to Hot Springs, Arkansas and bet your paycheck on a horse race, or West Memphis, Arkansas and bet your SS check on a dog race. Whether your for gambling or not, there is a problem don't you think?

Whether you are for not to drilling in some areas, there are areas where we are drilling that exposes the argument against drilling as being indefensible.

Are people in Florida higher up on the social ladder than the grunts in Texas and Louisiana? Is the argument not to drill aggressively off the west coast, the same argument as not putting windmills off of Cape Cod? These are some of the illogical points I see, and I don't believe they are partisan in nature.

Btw, who is to say the deserts of the middle east would not supply our alternative energies? It's obvious ethanol is a failure as being produced in the US.
