hello pezz, today's report:

(i) signed for yet another industrial turned office space in the wang chuk hang area of hong kong on own account, in lieu of buying more gold, for today; am happy to assume that the money is completely lost, and figuring to be pleasantly rediscovering goodness come 60 months from today. now i will stop adding to real estate after having acquired quite a bit in the past 6 months;

(2) the last tenant in the original purchased building of the gold citadel property club has indicated he will surrender and vacate the premises this coming sunday, and so complete renovation of the four floors and rooftop will commence next monday;

(3) i think the feed idea may be sound and have more upside, because the quaked province has 3x+ more pigs (about 400 mil pigs) than people - ages ago i helped a german outfit to negotiate a animal pharma biz, and the spreadsheet had figured a whole lot of shots for the healthy pigs; and

(4) i remain mindful of the real possibilities of inflation stagflation and the genuine dangers of depression - touch and go, can go either way, and even at the same sorry time.

hello pezz, today's report:

(i) still in chongqin, watching news channel at airport lounge, as all entertainment channel, several dozens, have gone dark for 72 hours

(ii) noting cultural differences between the case of earthquake in poor sichuan vs flood debacle in richer new orleans, how the leaderships reacted, the communities responded, families pulled together, armed forces used, and overseas diaspora chipped in - the differences are self-evident, and frankly, shocking

(iii) the aftermath and consequential questions and policy responses will prove more telling, imo

some one, perhaps maurice mq, should illuminate cb ilaine on how americans care more, supposedly, about life, allegedly;

(iv) have moved field armies of cash to canadian front, de-camping usd zero coupon 3-mths bonds

more reinforcements to follow,

because it was sad to see bush the wastrel begging for oil, lecturing on nothing, and continuing to murder and imprison minors in invaded countries - mary cluny should get a clue; and

(v) portfolio approaching 2008 high watermark and so all is better.
