Actually what Buffett is doing is shoring up his legacy. He wants to be remembered as a great guy and a man of the people.
I have a feeling not long after his death some more accurate stories will be told about just how he bought dollars for 50 cents. Moodys will likely be part of the story.

The entire US has moved left. If the Republican Party doesn't wake up and realize that fact, it will be destroyed in the elections.
