I don't think he wants to pit Cindy versus Michelle.

You were the one who believed Michelle was competent. Is one not allowed to ask for evidence?

I'm interested in issues and the candidates, not personalities. Except Bill Clinton in the wings was a fair factor.

Bill is fair game, and so is Michelle as long as she keeps stumping for Barack. Nobody gets to declare that public speeches must only be listened to by supporters, but must be ignored by critics.

On point one, Cindy is not out on the stump advocating policy. She is playing the "typical candidates wife" role. Michelle is an active campaigner. So that's "apples and oranges."

Point two is you are defending Obama's attempt to stop looks at his and his wife's character. Anybody can write up a nice policy position. They mean little or nothing. What counts is the person who implements this policy.

We knew going in that there was a problem with the Clinton's character. But the MSM did their best to spike and spin it.

It hurt the country when it developed during his Presidency. As an example see how messed up our Al Qaeda response was during the "stained dress" episode.
