There's a backlash in New Zealand now as people realize the wacky emissions trading rort will cost them a lot of money which they want to use to pay for their accommodation and food.

It's easy to be a Greenie when it doesn't cost anything and it gives a sense of belonging and being virtuous. There's no need to think or understand it either, just go along with the official line, But when the costs become evident, the opinion soon shifts.
