It all depends on how we approach talking to Iran. Iran is a complex society. Power is where power goes. If we are clever, we can talk to people that could make Ahmadinejad irrelevant.

Ronald Reagan and Oliver North tried that. It became known as the Iran Contra Affair.

Maybe we can try it again, but no weapons this time. Please.

I'm afraid we've been too clever by half in the ME for several decades now.

It might be best if we don't try to subvert their gov't again.
