Very brave post. And the neo cons have put our children 20 trillion in debt in less than 30 years and destroyed our army with a sensless war. What is worse not a peep out of anyone? The dems had no power for the last 30 years, except as you say during the clinton years (when they ran budget surpluses) so how could the 20 trillion be anyones fault but the conservative republicans. Simple logic and facts. I am now worrried Hillary staying in this race and winning by 40% points in West Virgina and Kentucky and talking about Barak can't win uneducated white voters (20% of whom openly say race affects their vote) has just stoked that old racism fire again. My mother, (one of the great Elenore Roosevelt type women of the world)and one of 12 children, and I, turned our backs on our entire family as they were all blatant racists. Racism and sexism are too horrible of crimes to overlook! Racism and sexism are simply not acceptable. I will not accept either one, or even be polite to a person who espouses such venel behavior. I have many African American friends who have told me how hard racism is on them and my mother told me how hard sexism was on her. I owe it to both African Americans and women to stand with them for they have both been badly mistreated by many in our society.
