A couple weeks ago I was in the Post Office - I owed like $1.27 and gave the postal worker a $20. The worker looked at it and said to the next cashier "Do you have change for a 20?" I said "I'm sorry, here's a 5 and it will be easier as I did not realize you did not have much change." Cashier looked at the bill and the register and it dawned on me they had put the 20 on their machine and did NOT know how to make the 5 change - I told the person to count up from what I owed them and it would be correct... would NOT do it...wrote it on a piece of paper and figured it up. Sort of stunned me as this person had to be late 30s early 40s...and at that pay rate. This person is a regular there so must be full time. Who do we blame? Thanks ....
