I had an elderly aunt who would come to our farm in the spring and pick the untouched dandilions in the field. Then make hot bacon dressing .....allowing it to cool a big of course....to put over it. Delicious.

My mother used to make that! I'd forgotten.

She loved her rhubarb pie, too.
