Our government at work...

At the risk of being therapeutically incorrect, I've got to say that we have idiots running the country and idiots voting them into office, apparently.

OPEC is manipulating oil prices, but if we want to fight about it, we had better open up our own reserves first and doing anything less would be like taking a knife to a gunfight.

Too bad we can't sue the House members who are FOR that measure for wasting taxpayer money.

If the people screeching that oil is to high would stop for a second and realize that because THEY haven't fought for US to do new drilling, nor for US to build new refineries.....nor to even have hearings with the various states to see why so many botique gas blends are necessary...etc etc...we might not have the problems we are having now....And our problems haven't really even started....Just wait till we see how many people stayed home this summer, and didn't spend vacation money going to different states and countries for vacation.

The environmentalists without a plan on HOW to get energy, will be the culprits, plus the Do Nothing Congress.

But for now, they all continue to blame Bush. Finger pointing to themselves is too hard for them to handle.
