I agree. I have every confidence Brazil will whole-heartedly take over Ronald Reagan's Loony Toon economic policies and even rev it up in a uniquely Brazilian manner.

Brazil is already well along the path of believing that everything can be paid for with borrowed money -- and those things which can't, can be obtained by theft from foreign investors combined with uneconomic government investments.

This is what previously destroyed the Brazilian economy so many years ago and what will destroy it again. It seems every generation needs to learn the same lessons afresh.
