I believe that people who back Obama or Hillary and claim they would vote for McCain instead of the other Democrat are exaggerated now compared to how they will actually vote.

But I wonder if the people who voted for Hillary now because she "connects" to their values and sentiments, could be very prone to McCain's similar but stronger message.

Different from them saying they would vote McCain if Obama were nominated. The way I heard it, these folks are voting for McCain regardless.

Maybe I got the context wrong but that's how I recall the graphic on CNN or MSNBC (I was switching between the two).
