IF obama were white and the math was somehow the same in the race, the soups would push hillary in front. But since he is b black Dems would rather risk defeat than be perceived as somehow politically incorrect. Look at the results since super-tuesday and esp since Rev Wright flap; Clinton is the clear winner, save for the latte states. Also obama gets 90% of the black vote which is unique in american politics. But in the general, any democrat gets 90% making the black vote meaningless. The only way obama wins the general is because generic dems are way ahead and it would seem impossible to overcome this fact.
