This latest Congressional insanity again attests to the power of the bitterly anti-OPEC Israel lobby over that institution. This resolution is no more insane than lobby orchestrated bi-partisan threats to attack Iran even though that country poses no threat to AMERICAN interests.

Call me faithful, but are the American people so stupid to fall for Congress' bullshit on the commodities topic?

Maybe in the 70's, but given the negativity to McCain and Clintons' gas tax "holiday", Americans seem to understand what's going on more than the politicians understand Americans?

Also, this time foreigners aren't backing down...America, either you change and adapt or you get left behind is the word. Perhaps the puppetmasters are pulling the strings, but unless America is self-sacrificial there is no way McCain can beat Barack "Change" Obama in this environment.
