I prepay. Once a year I give them 100 or so, and they charge me .25/min for a call. I;m like you. I never use the cell for social reasons, and I never give out the number. It's for emergencies when Dan is out of town and I am driving at night or alone. That kind of thing.
I do pay a set amount for unlimited long distance on the landline because of the boys, all our relatives, even Dallas itself is LD.
