John,

I think you will see many scenarios played out by the press. The more divisive they would seem, the more I would bet they are plants from those on the right trying to shore things up for McCain. For the republicans the strategy could be how do you get Clinton on the ticket without her being on the ticket? I think you will see her name come up for all sorts of positions in an Obama government just so it could appear that McCain is running against her as well, especially if things aren't going well in the campaign. I think it would be a mistake because I don't think she is as divisive a figure as everyone is making her out to be.

I wouldn't doubt that we see this before November. Interesting that it is starting so early.
