It's weird, maybe I live in a bubble (I probably do), but I have not seen anything close to what I have heard in FL and CA. I didn't even know there was tremendous foreclosure activity on the Island as I don't go into those areas. My area is on the North Shore and I rarely travel much further south of the Northern State Parkway.

With that said though, the malls and restaurants still feel packed here.
