That might make the candidates pay more attention to the voters in the smaller states.


I support the Electoral College, because of what I believe is its function; that is, to level the field for weaker states against the powerful ones.

You raise an interesting point, but I don't see how that could happen. It's the same idea the founders had in the bicameral congress.
