AMD claims several OEMs were pressured into not attending the Opteron launch or to not produce Opteron products. These include IBM, NEC, Supermicro, MSI, Atipa, Solectron and Fujitsu-Siemens.

Ask yourself, "What's the chance that all these tales are fibs?


Intel also pressured the Russians, Chinese, Indians and the entire continent of Africa. They all crumbled under Intel's demands...

Given AMD's credibility, I'd say the chance that most of them are fibs is pretty high.

You might have a point. It's not like AMD has ever fibbed before, have they...?

Those incidents where they reiterated revenue guidances 2 weeks before reporting record losses don't count.
