"Without preconditions" is a GOP lie. There would always be preconditions as no presdient ever meets with anyone without his team going in first and laying the groundworkl. SO anyone who believes Bush-McCain's crapola there is a real sucker. Plus, Bush's own people Gates and Rice are urging more talks with the Iranians right now. So sheer hypocrisy. Reagan, Nixon and all other GOP presdients also talked with enemies. So did Kennedy and Roosevelt. All the great ones did.
