The rightwing are phony Christians, anti-christians really. If you know about The Family, the ultra elite religious right/corporate greed lobby in DC, you know what they believe Jesus was wrong and that only the few, richest and most powerful should be blessed, not the poor or downtrodden. Many of the top rightwing politicians are allied with The Family which supports endless war in the Middle East, massive gas gouging, the decimation of thed US middleclass, pollution rights for all and all kinds of basically corrupt, noxious and un-Christian policies.
