Assuming you have an account with a broker, easiest thing in the world. Some of these are leveraged and some straight, and there are a lot more than these:

QID, SDS, SRS (real estate stocks), SKF (leveraged financials),
RYVNX, DOG, and on and on.

Owning these is somewhat like creating one's own hedge fund. One hopes the counterparties are still solvent if the market crashes, and can pay off. You cannot collect from a bankruptcy, even if you were right. That's the one advantage of shorting. You can always buy the stock and close your position, and you already have your money.
