I think your right. They also have attitude about it too. They want you to notice them but they get peeved if you stare or make a comment. I think Oral had an encounter with a "piercing afflicted" young lady in the grocery line one time.

They want you to notice them but they get peeved if you stare or make a comment. Several years ago I was in line at the grocery store and in front of me was this young women in this Goth attire. You know the leather and chains and she had all these piercings and wild make up with spiked hair. Anyhow I must have been staring because she turned to me and said, "WTF are you looking at old man." I said, "WTF am I looking at! Are you kidding me! Have you looked in a mirror! You look like some freak that escaped from the damn carnival." She just glared and then stomped out of the store. Cashier who was an older women said, "I've been waiting for someone to tell her that." I said "gee, do you know her." She said, "That's my daughter." LOL:)
