Certainly Cape Coral, PSL and Palm Bay fit into that category now...probably not the MSA though the way median household prices are calculated..bottom line is it starts getting affordable these days with these very low interest rates when you got newer 3/2/2's going for $70-80k in FL or AZ and $100k in CA

Port ST.Lucie Florida, one can buy a 3x2 CBS for about 112k the last I checked. They have many.
I considered picking one up back in 2006 when they were around 300k...I was warned then things would get much cheaper.
