When Reagan traded arms to the Iranian mulllahs for favors involving holding onto US hostages until after the election, did the rightwing accuse Reagan and Ollie North of being weak on Islamic extremists? Nope. How about when Reagan sent Rumsfeld to arm Saddam Hussein? Nope. How about when Reagan withdrew from Lebanon after the tragic Marines barracks bombing? Nope. When Cheney at Halliburton illegally did deals with the Iranians, did the GOP rightwing castigate him publicly? Nope. Gee wiz, I guess the rightwing is totally full of crapola again. As usual. Not to mention very bad for national security.
