I saw some of that interchange with McCain and Degeneres...I thought he handled it pretty well, and while she got a little testy in one of the comments, he didn't let it rile him...and then, neither did she.

I'm certainly glad he said this....

But he added he believes in "the unique status of marriage between and man and a woman."
