I meant the "royal we" not the individual us... I was thinking today there might be some justice if we all could get horses, and carts, and start using them for our local transportation. The Libs would have a fit, because there just might be horse 'stuff' everywhere and it would get on their shoes, and probably even the tires and insides of their SUV's and Beemers....

Heard Carlson and Shram on the radio today while doing errands. EVEN Shram, dedicated Lib that he is, was just having a fit because Mayor Nichols didn't ask any of the Council, or any local communities what their people would need in way of transportation if they did as Nichols wants....he's asking everyone to give their cars a vacation for the next several months.

Shram lives in Kenmore, and related how much longer his commute would be if he took the bus....Over double would be one thing, but from his home to Seattle work, would be over 3 TIMES his actual commute each way each day....the bus schedules from Eastside to Seattle are just abysmal, as I've commented before.
