I agree. There are a thousands of different stocks out there, but this thread is only interested in BM's & PM's. I and some others have tried to get posters interested in other sectors that are moving - but nobody here is interested in that.

You can always tell when PM's are on the move, this thread has hundred's of posts. I don't even have to look at Kitco for that information. And when PM's & BM's are flat or declining you might get 45 or 50 posts...

All FWIW only

there has been an undercurrent of petroleum banter here that if followed, one could have profited quite handsomely from.

I agree, there is sort of an unspoken understanding here that most don't want to be bothered by things other than mining, but I would say that it does manage to be more of a resource thread, with an emphasis on mining. I have found the thread to be exceptionally helpful in finding ways to profit. There has been a lull in big hits in mining here lately so some are getting cranky. I suggest that the remedy has been in petroleum juniors. Just when you give up and leave, that will be about the time that the junior miners kick back in <g>.

Ahhh, forgot to add one last comment to your post.

I think most of us would be happy to jump on a bull market. Got one?
