I also remember a lot of people saying oil wouldn't STAY over $50/BBl.

Like I've said before, I don't understand how this economy can expand with oil prices so high.

As usual. Dire predictions that didn't come true. The economy will handle $150/bbl oil, $200/bbl, or whatever is thrown at it.

Even if we get a recession, we'll come back quickly and stronger.
