We have enough natural gas in this country alone to last us for more than 100 years..... We have oil shale and oil sands....let's start using them. We have oil that is available....other countries are drilling off our shores....let's do it too. And while we're doing those things, we can get some panels of very bright individuals together and see how geothermal, coal, solar satellites, wind mills, etc will add (or won't as the case might be).... Conserving what we use of course. BUT it may be that we will no longer be able to protect the rest of the world, nor feed it.
