My two cents:
We already have the cure. It's in its raw form. but it is working now. Let the scientists spend their decades finding out exactly what and how. Let the FDA take all the time it wants to wave its majic wand. But let us have the cure we already have now.

And we haven't let bin Laden off the hook.

He's hardly the only long term wanted fugitive in the world. He's more distinctive looking than most and more "wanted", but he also has a lot more supporters and has places he can go to where he is really difficult to find.

At this point, I wouldn't even mind the huge political boost it would give Bush if he actually captured the man.

What would you have us do? Invade Pakistan in force for at most a moderate chance of catching him?
