Its funny, all the swearing in Firefly is done in Mandarin...I've seen some of the translations and they are a hoot: "Stupid son of a drooling whore and a monkey." "The explosive diarrhea of an elephant" "Holy mother of god and all her wacky nephews" "Motherless goats of all motherless goats." "Stupid inbred stack of meat." The crew gets to swear with feeling and the censors can't touch them.

INARA Does it seem every supply store on every border planet has the same five rag dolls and the same wood carvings of... (looking at one) What is this? A duck? KAYLEE That's a swan. And I like it.
