Sales of Existing Homes in the U.S. Probably Declined in April

May 23 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. sales of previously owned homes probably fell in April to a record low, signaling no let-up in the housing recession, economists said before a report today.

The National Association of Realtors may report that home resales dropped 1.6 percent to a 4.85 million annual rate, the lowest level since comparable records began in 1999, according to the median forecast of 67 economists in a Bloomberg News survey.

Defaults on subprime mortgages have prompted lenders.....more

You heard right....it IS beginning to get to the point where investors got a shot at selected housing deals out here, cap rates are starting to make sense.
