Yes, the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China) economies are on pace to dwarf the US economy. The world will continue to get much smaller for the US as BRIC countries expand their military power with their economic power.

They have a very long way to go. Especially since the US economy is also growing, but at a lower percentage. Right now the price of oil will slow them down. Also some of these countries are allied or likely to ally with the US.
