Farmers are moving from NZ to Argentina too - there was quite a flurry of it over the last few years [business expansion, not simply moving there].

Brazilians need to be colonized to know what to do, so now that Brazil isn't simply shooting everyone in the back, there's some financial incentive for foreigers to put their capital and brains together with the Brazilian workers and make some money.

It's not likely to last because of TJ's "return to the mean" [and nasty] theories. But hope springs eternal. Good places can go bad [Zimbabwe, New Zealand] and bad places can go good [Eastern Europe, Ireland, South Korea, Singapore].
