Please. Kept him from setting up camp in Iraq? That's just silly.

I, for one, would not want to face the families of those killed on 9/11 and tell them, "we're just going to leave bin Laden in his cave". It's clear, from the fact that he continues to issue statements and tapes, that he is still able to communicate with the outside world. Thus, he and al Zawahiri are still able to plan attacks that others can carry out. The threat is not neutralized.

I find it rather amazing that people can say Clinton didn't do enough, pre 9/11, to nail bin Laden, then say things like "I'm content to keep him in his cave."

Now that we know what he's capable of, and because he needs to be punished for what he has already done, I am not content to leave him there.
