you know...i always find it amusing when people speak of a politicians "dumb gaffes" as campaign fatigue....as i'm hearing it described by various pundits now....

i think of it as similar to 'en vino veritas' ...you basically have a politician stating what they *really* think and when the SHTF afterward, they scramble to deconstruct their comments as being irrelevant campaign 'fatigue' babble

well, i'm not buying it

i don't care how tired i am , or how mentally fatigued....i would NEVER bring up the killing of an opponent UNLESS it was something i had been considering as a viable option

her assassination remarks were just simply toxic and there is no way you can put those remarks back in a box citing 'fatigue'

nope, hill...

we now know what you really think (hope?) and recognize that you need to just go quietly away

and nadine, you are right about this...

'she doesn't usually do those'

dumb gaffes

i submit to you that nothing that comes out of this woman's mouth is uncalculated....so we agree

i'm not an 'obama camp' individual and i certainly do not react to this accordingly....i KNOW what i heard when i heard her suggest the possibility of an assassination as a reason to remain in the campaign

pathetic

she deserves to be renounced on every level after this...she's the 'fifty cent' of the democratic party now

...didn't mean to float the notion of rfk's assassination. she just mentioned that bill's 92 campaign and rfk's didn't close until june, in rfk's case, that was the same day he was assassinated, which is what everybody remembers.

Thats my opinion too.

But there are hard feelings in the Democratic camp and this will harden them more.

And I can live with that.
