my mom was 14 when she got married and 16 when she had me. She will probably outlive me.

There may be other problems, but from a physical standpoint, the healthiest time for a woman to have children is when she is a teenager.

We have a lot of yak yak about "children raising children," but it's much less physically demanding when the mother is younger.

I was 25 when I had my first child, and my husband was 30. We owned our home and he had a good job. I would recommend that for any young person.

One son has followed our advice and did just what we did. The older one understands completely and isn't married because he hasn't reached his goals.

I wish every single young couple would do the same.
