Ah - everyone knows engineers can't spell! Darn spell check needs to read minds as well as text.

Yes, that's a line I used, jokingly, with my engineering colleagues. Touchy souls that they were, they corrected me repeatedly. Claimed they could spell as well as any faculty member of the English Department. We were never able to come up with a proper test.

As for the spell check comment, I agree. What's keeping the engineers from doing so?
