I sent some feedback to my Senator a month or two back asking him to start thinking about the people instead of his special interest lobbyists. Now I regularly receive emails bragging about what he is doing. The guy, a multi decade Democratic Senator, is unbelievable. If I could I would have him thrown in prison. Definitely voting against him next time. He doesn't represent me or anyone I know.

i did a similar thing with the senators from this state (both R's) decrying the housing bailouts being proposed and got a form letter in return telling me how hard they working to preserve the housing market...lol....it's amazing how truly out of touch the pols are

They claim the bill is revenue-neutral, that is, paid for (by your taxes). I agree farmers don't NEED any subsidies. It's still better than (R) pork, which was on the card.
