I did one of those market surveys recently where they ask you about what you listen to on radio. I told the lady up front that I only listen to radio in the car when I am doing errands, and then it's NPR (WAMU) or a classic rock station. She went through a bunch of other talk stations and I kept saying nope, nope, nope. She didn't seem to believe that I wouldn't be flicking around the dial listening to all the crashing and bashing chat available at the punch of a button. We don't have to pretend to approve of it, or patronize it in any way.
