But if you extend your reading to places other than this thread I do understand your frame of reference. But I don't see any value in importing it, defensively or offensively.

Obamaphile is every bit as insulting as "Bush lover". And everyone ought to know that- and people who use it elsewhere on other threads where liberals are attacked do know it, and they might try to use it here to see what they can get away with. I don't think that kind of "performance art" is healthy to thread dialog- although when I see that sort of thing, I begin to ignore the poster. That sort of cross thread pollution is not something that interests me.
