I don't think that's generally true. I think a few people who support Hillary may be irrationally angry for a while, but imo (unless they are completely out of touch with reality) they will end up voting democratic. After all, Obama and Hillary have very similar policies- though Obama has the good fortune of having been against our very unpopular war from the beginning.

I'm sure all candidates must occasionally have the thought "I wish my opponent would just drop dead" flit through their mind- or the VP must occasionally daydream about that, but you can't SAY it, or give people any idea you're thinking it. In this instance hypocrisy is the better part of valor.
