GOP strategists mull McCain ‘blowout’

All depends on a great unknown: how will Obama be perceived in September and October? For that matter, how will McCain, after 6 more months of relentless media pounding?

Each side is sure to get 40% regardless. But that middle 20% can be swayed by the candidates and the campaign.

What's likely to happen is McCain wins the electoral college and loses the popular vote. Imagine the hue and cry from the left when that occurs.
