Obama is speaking at Wesleyan 2008 Graduation Ceremonies in Connecticut today in lieu of Ted Kennedy who will not be speaking.

I expect this to give more insight into Obama's leanings.

There will likely be some gems come out of that speech.

If anyone is an alumnus of Wesleyan, this will likely be of interest. The transcript will likely be on the net.

This is an article about another Wesleyan Commencement in 1990 at which Bishop Tutu spoke.

I am wondering how much of Wesleyan's history Obama will know and reference correctly if at all.

Wesleyan changed dramatically in 1968 and the early 1970's when they moved from being a school for men to including women. That movement was promulgated by the left-leaning feminists of that time.
