Is the GOP campaign this year going to be based on silly smears? If so, you guys are going down even harder than I thought. This year the country has very serious problems. Not only the huge mess in Iraq but Warren Buffett is predicting a long, deep recession, and I believe him. $4 gasoline is n ow the norm and that will have ripple effects down the line. Until we can build the green energy infrastructure needed to replace gasoline we are in deep cacapoop. And we can thank Reagan and the two Bushes for those problems.
