Hillary has been very determined to push the myth that she is the only woman who has a chance to be President, in our lifetime if not forever. This is nonsense. After all, who would have picked Obama as the only black man who has a chance to be President a year ago? When the right person comes along then the gender will be only a small consideration. TP

Wouldn't it be better to send Clinton BACK to those same States she's already campaigned in and tell those same women that she wants to work WITH Obama? Obama is going to have a TOUGH time with white males and probably Jews and Hispanics, ALONG with women. Clinton has already established relationships in EVERY State and I think it could be a VERY dumb move for Obama to pick somebody that has never been a National candidate. There's an article out now about how some GOP strategists think McCain can beat Obama with a LARGER electoral margin than Bush had in either of the last 2 elections. I think that's a possibilty too. I remember reading where Obama went to a factory in Michigan to greet the first shift coming in and the guys walking in didn't even bother to LOOK at him. Nobody wanted to shake his hand. Obama could have some REAL problems in the industrial states and he really needs SOMEBODY that can patch that stuff up and get him some votes.
