It's all supposition from a suspect right wingnut source with a definite agenda to demonize Iran. No cigar, loonytunes.

The 9/11 hijackers spent a lot of time in the US. Did they have the backing of the US government? Were they trained by US operatives? There's as much evidence of THAT as that they were hooked up with the Iranians.

Meanwhile, because you are are so shallow I doubt you're bother with Bodansky, I'll provide the following link which discusses a small part of the involvement.

LMAO! You call me shallow???!

Everything is so very simple for you guys........everything leads back to your current enemy du jour. That's what shallow is all about. Its true there is a relationship between Iran and Hezbollah but only you kumquats believe that Iran is responsible for the birth of Hezbollah. The truth is far more complicated than that but I understand......you all don't have the kind of minds that can handle such complexity.

In the right's lack of understanding, they have caused this nation great pain and suffering. Back off........you're in over your heads.

"Hezbollah is a Shiite Islamic organization in Lebanon. Scholars differ as to when Hezbollah came to be a distinct entity. Some organizations list the official formation of the group as early as 1982 [18] whereas Diaz and Newman maintain that Hezbollah remained an amalgamation of various violent Shi’a extremists until as late as 1985 [19]. Another version states that it was formed by supporters of Sheikh Ragheb Harb, a leader of the southern Shiite resistance killed by Israel in 1984.[20] Regardless of when the name came into official use, a number of Shi’a groups were slowly assimilated into the organization, such as Islamic Jihad, Organization of the Oppressed on Earth and the Revolutionary Justice Organization[citation needed]. These designations are considered to be synonymous with Hezbollah by the US,[21] Israel[22] and Canada.[23] The organization developed in a milieu, which included the Iranian revolution in 1979, oppression of Shiites by Sunnis and Christians in Lebanon, and Israel's invasion of Lebanon in 1982. In 1982, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) was based in Southern Lebanon and was firing Katyusha rockets into northern Israel from Lebanon. Israel invaded Lebanon to evict the PLO, and Hezbollah became an armed organization to expel the Israelis.[24]"
