I believe his post clearly referred to "American interests abroad" and thus was correct in every respect.

Yes, fine Americans have given their lives and had their lives disrupted in unimaginable ways. No, we haven't spent a trillion, but it has been a lot.

But this is what the best Americans have always done -- sacrificed so that we can have freedom.

Clearly, these sacrifices have effectively stopped attacks on our soil. It is about time you give our military men and women a little credit for doing what you don't have the stones to do -- fight for our country.
