I hear ya! I've lost a bunch betting on Rob McEwen. I made some money buying Coral, Nevada Pacific, Tone Resources, and White Knight just because I bought basically everybody with claims on the Cortez Trend in early '06. Then McEwen happened along. US Gold was about the only one I did not buy because it seemed they did not have a clue how to look for Carlin-trend gold in the Great Basin, i.e. they drilled over 2,200 holes about 500 feet deep. Then after McEwen takes over I was foolish enough to buy UXG and it's only gone down since then. I figured that the rich stockbroker could buy the best geological staff but he can't seem to keep anybody on staff. How long did Ann Carpenter last? Has he replaced her yet? Has he got an experienced sedimentary gold geologist knowledgeable in Great Basin geology? All I get is this self-absorbed glossy color magazine singing the praises of Rob McEwen. For awhile after Ann Carpenter walked out I had a theory that McEwen would buy VIT to get their geological staff. But, if he did they'd probably walk too since I've heard it's hard to put up with him. I'm The Greatest website: robmcewen.com
